Meet Our Leaders

Pastor Joe is a 2002 Penn State graduate with a passion for preaching God’s word in a relevant, life-changing way.  He is committed to guiding Nittany Bible in maintaining it’s vision of being Morally Righteous and Culturally Relevant.  As a former PSU Linebacker, Joe began speaking publicly about his faith during his college years and was an active participant with Athletes in Action.  

He and his wife, Ginger (also a PSU graduate), were married on August 24, 2002.  In addition to being the leader of the Children’s Ministry at Nittany Bible, Ginger has been a Math teacher at State College Area High School since 2000.  Together, Pastor Joe and Ginger founded Play By Faith Ministries in 2006 and served on the campuses of Bloomsburg University, Lock Haven University, PSU, and Lycoming College.  After being a campus minister for 5 years, Joe accepted the call to be the shepherd of Nittany Bible Church in May 2011.  They have 3 children – Artyr, Grace, and Jordyn.

Tyler and Elise Constable are the Youth Leaders of the Cross-Training Youth Group at Nittany Bible Church. They met as fellow mathematics majors at Grove City College and were married in 2009. Tyler has been a longtime member of the church and Elise joined the church after their marriage. Tyler previously served as an Assistant Youth Leader for two years at Nittany Bible.  Elise currently serves as Treasutary (Treasurer and Secretary) and as a Nursery Volunteer, in addition to her Youth Leader responsibilities.  

Tyler and Elise are passionate about youth ministry and desire to see youth group members grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and its transformational power in their lives. It is their desire that the youth of the church would know Christ more and make Him known through they way they live and speak.  In their leisure time, Tyler enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee and Elise enjoys making Homemade Greeting Cards.  Tyler and Elise have three children, Claire, James, and Esther.    

Aaron grew up in nearby Spruce Creek and has been leading worship at Nittany Bible for over 10 years, ever since his graduation from Penn State in May 2014.  It is his desire to model and lead Nittany Bible in authentic, heartfelt worship.  

After graduating from Lock Haven University, Alyssa (Davis) married Aaron in August of 2015.  Alyssa serves on the worship team alongside Aaron and is also involved in helping to lead the Children's Ministry at NBC.  The Cunninghams have two children, Owen and Emma.
